I recently had the pleasure of reviewing the first four releases in Eduard's new concept of etched 1/35 camouflage netting; I found them to be well formed, an interesting concept but prohibitively dear for anything but minor diorama usage. Now on my review bench are two further sets, both of which cover the camouflage netting used by the US armed forces in the period 1940 - 1960, of which there were several styles (below).

The style of the US camouflage netting sets appears to be that called "US Leaf" (or sometimes "US Mottle") and shows seasonal variation. At some time during production, probably around 1945, the nets became coloured differently on each side i.e. they were reversible for the 2 colour patterns that follow. However, I believe Eduard are right in not trying to portray this feature; these single camo netting sets are equally correct and the manufacturing cost (and end price) would have soared even higher.

The main camouflage colours are, as expected, various shades of green. The printing is first class and matches the shades in my references; the colours may be slightly dark for 1/35 scale allowing for scale effect, but not by much.

This is as near perfect as you are going to get in this camouflage netting series; shape, tone, scale colour is all spot-on and highly commendable.
As before, it is only the small size and cost of these sheets that prevent much more widespread use than will probably happen. I think this is a real shame because they are really good diorama products.
So what do we think?
Even better than the first sets examined, but the price remains a major obstacle to greater use.
Overall: 8.5/10
