It would be one hell of a task to review each item individually, and it would be extremely repetitive, so I’ll summarise the overall quality of items and style of product, and give you individual photos for each set so you’ll get an idea of what each pack contains.
- Etch Metal parts. Voyager Model are renowned for the superb quality of their etch metal parts, and rightly so. I’ve used several Voyager sets of time, and they really are some of the cream of AM sets for modellers. Etch quality is extremely fine and even. All intricate parts re reproduced without blemish or fault. Having said that, you will find a very unusual ‘under etch’ on the Sd.Kfz.7 8t Half Track pictures. This seems to only be from one side, and with a sharp knife, can be easily fixed. This is the first and only time I’ve encountered such from Voyager as their QA is usually extremely good, and they take good care to get the product to you as fault free as possible. Look through the etch photos and take note of the detail, from footplate pattern to etch manufacturer names on parts, where relevant. Many of these sets have multiple frets in differing sizes, and represent fantastic value for money to the modeller, who will end up with a very special reproduction when finished.
- Resin Parts. Quite a number of Voyager sets now include resin in some form. You’ll notice a smattering of this throughout these samples. The Sd.Kfz.& 8t Half Track has an amazing rolled canvas roof realised in a single resin piece. The work is very realistic and won’t take too much work to look just perfect. This is also quite a substantial piece of resin too, showing the value for money that these sets provide.
- Turned parts. From turned barrels to rail buffers, to hexagonal bolts, there is nothing substandard about these items. They are flawless and produced to the highest quality. Barrels are rifled etc, and the detail should satisfy the most commanding modellers.

As this is a general review, I’d like to let the above speak for itself and give no overall score on these, but I would love to give a 10/10. Suffice to say they are EXCELLENT!
